What you’ll do
The Behavioral Health Clinician III is responsible for providing quality counseling, case management and community support services to clients with mental health conditions, substance use disorders, and/or co-occurring disorders at Pioneer Human Services (PHS). The clinician will be using evidence-based and promising practices, effectively meeting the need of PHS’s clientele; and documenting treatment and case management service provision in a timely and effective manner.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Behavioral Health Service Delivery

Provides evidence-based and /or promising mental health disorder services and psychosocial interventions through counseling, problem-solving and case management services in accordance with department policy based upon identified treatment needs specified in the client’s Individual Service Plan.
Diagnoses mental health conditions in accordance with the most recently published Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (e.g. DSM-5)..
Complies with documentation and filing requirements according to WAC, agency and funder policies. Maintains complete and accurate documentation of all activities (including, but not limited to: case files and records, progress notes, case plans, reports, case summaries and billing information) on a professional, self-directed basis.
Develops and maintains working knowledge of community resources. Interacts and builds collaborative relationships with community partners, as needed, in support of treatment.
Integrates knowledge by thinking through and implementing the most professional, therapeutic reaction or intervention in any given client care situation.
What you’ll bring

EDUCATION:

Master’s Degree in Mental Health or Human Service filed with curriculum specifically related to counseling and psychology.
CERTIFICATION:

One or more of the certifications listed below dependent upon the contractual requirements:

LMHC Assoc. or LMHC
MFT Assoc. or MFT
LISW Assoc. or LISW
Must be able to pass and maintain security clearances as required by employment setting

Preferably you’ll bring

A minimum of 1 year experience post certification/licensure
