Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Specialist

Ryther is seeking a Substance Use Disorder professional to work with youth and families who are involved with the juvenile justice system. As part of the SUD Enhancement team, you will provide case management/referrals, brief screening interventions, sober support opportunities, psycho-education, and family and individual counseling when necessary. You will work with King County’s Juvenile Justice Assessment Team and coordinate care with treatment facilities, probation officers and other community support services. Candidates should have the ability to quickly and creatively engage high risk youth and be comfortable out in the community with clients. This is not a desk job!

Substance Abuse Therapist

Ryther is in search of qualified, chemical dependency professional (CDP or CDPT) to join our expanding team of multi-disciplinary professionals! Job duties would include providing comprehensive and culturally responsive SUD services and SUD assessments for children, youth and their families. It is strongly preferred that applicants are trained in administering the GAIN-I SUD assessment (but we are of course willing to train). SUD therapists have access to training and frequent clinical supervision. Therapists also participate in consultations with a team of Co-Occurring therapists.This position would start as part-time and build to full-time as your caseload/referrals grow.

Co-Occurring Therapist- Best Starts for Kids (Federal Way)

Ryther is in search of qualified, co-occurring therapists to join our expanding team of multi-disciplinary professionals! The position is within our partnership with Federal Way Public Schools alternative school through the Best Starts for Kids grant with King County. The position includes funding for coursework toward earning your CDP. Supervision and consultation are available from a variety of experts in the field.

In this position, you’ll provide youth and young adults who face multiple barriers to successfully transition to adulthood with behavioral health services that allow them to persist in secondary education. You’ll provide co-occurring therapeutic services including engagement, assessment, treatment, and linkage.

Candidates should have a master’s degree in social work, counseling, or related field as well as certification as a Chemical Dependency Professional certification (Trainees are also accepted)
