Willapa Behavioral Health is searching for a full time, day shift Wrap Around Intensive Services, WISe Therapist in Long Beach, WA.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Schedule either 4 – 10 hour shifts, or 5 – 8 hour shifts.
  • Moving assistance/sign on bonus $1,000.
  • Competitive salary, including pay for performance – eligible for $500.00 per quarter, $240.00 wellness initiative, and $500.00 annual for workshops.
  • National Health Service Corps Loan Repayment Program site  $50,000 – 2 years service.
  • Medical, dental, vision, retirement, four weeks of paid vacation and 12 paid holidays for holidays regularly scheduled to work when office is closed.

Willapa Behavioral Health provides outpatient services, is nationally accredited, and provides high quality care with experienced professionals to the Pacific County since 1986.

Services include adult, child & family services, chemical and problem gambling treatments, co-occurring disorders, and medically addicted treatment, and medical services.  In addition, a critical service to Pacific County, WBH provides 24/7 Mobile Crisis Services. Willapa Behavioral Health has grown adding new locations and positions, expanding from 2 locations to currently 5 locations in the past 3 years.

Long Beach, WA offers affordable housing, beautiful views, outdoor activities, located approximately 1 hour from the Pacific Ocean, 3 hours from Portland and 2 hours from Seattle.   • Perform assessment, coordinate care, provide community outreach and develop support to individuals in a culturally competent manner in accordance with best treatment practices.

Qualifications / Licenses:

  • MA in Social Work, Counseling Psychology or related field.
  • Washington State Certification as a Child Mental Health Specialist (CMHS) or equivalent preferred.
  • Washington State Licensed Mental Health Counselor, (LMHC), Licensed Independent Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist or equivalent preferred.
  • Must have current driver’s license, working vehicle, able to drive occasionally, and driving record that passes insurance company’s underwriting guidelines.
  • Essential worker providing in person delivery of care.
  • Local travel to schools, homes, in community.
  • Must be fully vaccinated

Experience Required:

  • 2 years of post-graduate experience in the mental health field with experience in providing counseling services to individuals and families.

 Skills Required:  

  • 2 years of post-graduate experience in the mental health field with experience in providing counseling services to individuals and families.
  • Demonstrated computer competency and time management skills.
  • Able to maintain good rapport with co-workers.
  • Demonstrate competency in working with a diverse population.
  • Demonstrated background of upholding professional conduct and retain confidentiality of clients.
